JUCO pick in last year’s draft, struggled early in Augusta before moving to short-season ball. I’m not sure why they pulled the plug on him so quickly in the SALLY, but he did have a nice summer in Salem-Keizer. Has tremendous speed and can take some walks, but he’ll need to make the jump back to full-season. I had him much higher on my mid-season list, but after looking closer, his overall body of work just doesn’t warrant a top 30 spot for me at this point. He was only 19 when he entered the organization, so there’s still plenty of time.
They said it: “He had 61 steals for CGCC and was caught 11 times. He also had a .633 slugging percentage and hit .475 in 48 games…Hollick hits well to all fields with power to left.” ~ Chris Quick, Bay City Ball
