#19. Nathanael Javier – 3B, 17 yo, DSL: Javier is one of the Giants’ prized international babies, playing in his first season in the organization since signing for $500,000 in the offseason. He’s a strong kid with room to grow at 6’3”, 185. With only a handful of professional games in the DSL under his belt this summer, he’s definitely an unknown. But Perfect Game gave him rave reviews for his glove and arm at third, as well as his potential to hit for average and power in the future. He’s not quite as hyped as fellow Giants signee Gustavo Cabrera, but many scouts still considered Javier one of the premier Dominican prospects to sign in the offseason.
